Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage is a book of short stories by Alice Munro, published by McClelland and Stewart in 2001.
In 2006, "The Bear Came over the Mountain" was adapted into a film, Away from Her, by director Sarah Polley and producer Atom Egoyan.
A film adaptation of the story, "Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage" starring Julianne Moore and directed by Noam Murro has been slated for a 2008 release.[1]
