Hate figure

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A hate figure is a person, normally in the public eye, who is widely disliked. The public's hatred for that person is sometimes unexplained, or may be because of horrific acts (see: Gary Neville, Osama Bin Laden or Myra Hindley [1]).
