The distinction between Arabs and Israelis in the recent events section is not accurate. The Arabs of Jaffa are mostly Israeli citizens; this is important and it is blurred in the article. Many people don't even know that Israel has Arab-Palestinian citizens. I tried to update the article in reflect this fact but somebody decided my edit reflected Antisemitism (!). I am not into edit wars so I just leave this comment here for the greater good. Sylupors 06:23, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Can the writer of the article please provide evidence that the Mosque was used by Arab snipers during the Arab-Israeli war.

[edit] Tel Aviv - Jaffa

Hi Brad, I'm not really so concerned about how we phrase the first line as long as we don't imply that Jaffa is a separate city from Tel Aviv. As you're no doubt aware, Jaffa was incorporated into the enlarged municipality, and so while it is fair not to refer to it as a neighbourhood, we should be able to find a more accurate phrasing than the current one. [edit] Sourcing

As far as I understand, neither in-line citation nor in-line referencing are required, especially in small articles, though they are preferred. Footnotes seem even less necessary. Cheers, TewfikTalk 01:46, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
