Talk:Haslington Hall

[edit] More Information
I have some information about the old Haslington Hall, which was in a different place (though the exact reference with the most information is inaccurate if one pays attention to (a) the more accurate tithe maps for the area which shows the rectangular moat from the old hall, (b) one pays attention to local knowledge of older residents, like my mother, who knows where the moat which became Haslington Mere actually was, and (c) one looks at local road names (like "Mere Street" which supports the tithe maps and local knowledge). This could go into the main article under history, though care needs to be given to not including inaccurate information, or insufficiently sourced information. I have intended this to go into the Haslington entry, but it is better placed here. What do you think? DDStretch (talk) 18:18, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- That's interesting. The only reason I have strayed into this territory is to try to get a separate article on every Grade I listed building in Cheshire - it helps with the categories. If you have anything more on the hall (old or new), please add it to this article, and maybe in the history of Haslington too. Peter I. Vardy (talk) 19:56, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
