[edit] Landmines
What was wrong with the landmine references? --Whiskey Pete, 03:13 February 6, 2007 (UTC)
- Under Shatigadud's leadership, the RRA planted landmines in many areas under its control in the war, as did many factions in the Civil War.[1] It was also a participant, along with fifteen other factions of the civil war, in the November 11, 2002 Deed of Commitment to ban landmines.[2]

- Good question! I decided to put the landmines reference under the article for the RRA instead, and not to have the same information in both places. I wanted it to reflect a tactic of the faction rather than a specific policy of Shatigadud, since his actions were typical of many of the leaders of the Somali Civil War. --Petercorless 02:31, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
