Hasunuma, Chiba

Hasunuma (蓮沼村; -mura) is a village located in Sanbu District, Chiba, Japan.
As of 2003, the village has an estimated population of 4,695 and a density of 483.02 persons per km². The total area is 9.72 km².
On March 27, 2006 the new city of Sanmu was formed by the merger of the municipalities of Sanbu, Naruto, Hasunuma and Matsuo.
