Hassan Shegewi

Hassan Shegewi or Sheghewi (Arabic: حسن الشغيوي) is a well-known Libyan radio sportscaster who covered most of the local and international Libyan Football Federation matches throughout the later half of the 20th century [1][2][3][4].

He is the son of resistance leader Omar Shegewi and Zuhra Ramdan Agha Al-Awji and had two brothers the elder Mohammed Shegewi, and the younger Idris Shegewi. His older brother Mohammed was one of the founders and the person who named the very popular Al-Ittihad (Tripoli) football club in 1944 [5][6].
