Haskel Besser

Haskel Besser (born 1923) is an Orthodox Jewish rabbi in New York City and the subject of a biography by American writer Warren Kozak, The Rabbi of 84th Street: The Extraordinary Life of Haskel Besser.[1] [2] [3]

Besser was born in Katowice, Poland in 1923. He came to the United States in 1949, together with members of his family.[4]
