[edit] License tagging for Image:Sit Times No.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Sit Times No.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:08, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WOAD Ode

Hi! You seem to have some interest in this. Do you have a validated copyright date? Pustelnik (talk) 03:07, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Invitation to vote

You as someone who participated in the editing of English people article might be interested in taking part in this discussion. Feel free to state your opinion. M.V.E.i. 16:41, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Leonid Savin

Did you start that page? Its ussuall etiquette to notify authors if pages are being deleted. I was dispaointed to see Apartment Fest go but the journalist Cynthia Carr who wrote about them in 'On the Edge' remains. Paki.tv 07:17, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Stub categories

Hi Harrypotter. WP:WSS has so far tried to avoid ethnicity-based stub templates and I feel that such a categorization is a step in the wrong direction, but that is my take on it. However, the reason I'm writing this post is that your project seems to consistently hardcode stub categories into articles. Please stop doing this, it makes our stub sorting work impossible. Instead, add the relevant stub template to the article(s). The templates are designed to sort articles into the associated stub categories automatically, but please don't add the actual stub category (e.g. [[Category:Writer stubs]] ) into the articles. Doing so breaks our stub sorting work to pieces. Happy editing. Valentinian T / C 21:23, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Anti-anarchism nominated for deletion

I have nominated the article anti-anarchism for deletion. Since you spent some effort expanding the article, I'm interested in your opinions on what should be done with it. Regards, Skomorokh incite 13:52, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of New Lettrist International

An article that you have been involved in editing, New Lettrist International, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/New Lettrist International (2nd nomination). Thank you. --BJBot (talk) 21:59, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Statoid

An editor has nominated Statoid, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Statoid and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:59, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Tatar Union of the Godless

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Tatar Union of the Godless, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Tatar Union of the Godless. [edit] Re: Edzell

Thanks, glad you like it! No, I don't recall that they do mention if Schaw went to Uraniborg, it was really only mentioned in relation to Edzell, but Schaw is certainly discussed elsewhere. I don't have the book to hand, Its in my local library - next time I go I shall check. As you have noticed, its up for GA review, I'd be really grateful if you could improve it any more, or at least keep an eye on the page in case you can address any comments that come up with regard to Rosicrucianism etc, as that side of things is a bit outside my scope of knowledge. Kind Regards, Jonathan Oldenbuck (talk) 15:54, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Sure enough, the GA comments are back (see the talk page), and some realte to these aspects. I think I am muddling up Hermeticism, Rosicrucians and Freemasonry? If you get a few spare minutes, could you take a look? Regards, Jonathan Oldenbuck (talk) 09:02, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
I checked in Glendinning et al's book, and it doesn't mention Schaw in relation to Uraniborg, it only says that James VI visited. Regards Jonathan Oldenbuck (talk) 11:20, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Broke Hall

A tag has been placed on Broke Hall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Mspraveen (talk) 09:04, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi there! The article, in itself, is very small and also does not cite any references. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may try to address these aspects while you put a {{hangon}} template on the article page. I hope this helps. Cheers! Mspraveen (talk) 09:19, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Leonid Savin

An article that you have been involved in editing, Leonid Savin, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leonid Savin (2nd nomination). Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Eiland (talk) 14:58, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Repost of Leonid Savin

A tag has been placed on Leonid Savin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Leonid Savin is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Leonid Savin saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 15:39, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
