[edit] Re: Caulfield Grammar School

While the citation issue I would say has been largely addressed, the writing still needs work. For example, "In 1961 Caulfield became affiliated with Malvern Memorial Grammar School, which became the school's Malvern House in 1971, a primary school located in the Valentine's Mansion, and its students began to wear the Caulfield Grammar School uniform." It's a bit of a mouthful. LuciferMorgan (talk) 22:46, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] His Holiness Romapada Swami

I'm sorry, I should have used the preview function. I just pasted the totally unacceptable biography from his website onto the Wiki page and saved it, but I was just in the process of editing it to go into Wikipedia. That was just a temporary thing. But anyways, he is notable, if Urmila Devi Dasi is notable, and I am putting him back in. —Preceding unsigned comment added by David G Brault (talkcontribs) 00:43, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Caulfield logo.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Caulfield logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 20:58, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Rekha Luther

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Rekha Luther, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Rekha Luther. B. [edit] Bond Uni page

Harro5,

I have tried a number of times to remove Julian Moti from notable faculty of Bond Uni, and see that you keep reinstating it. I am trying to remove it because it is INCORRECT. Julian Moti was never employed by Bond University, and was not a teaching Faculty member. He had the honorary title of Adjunct professor, from which he resigned from on Friday 22 September 2007. Please update the site accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.244.3.45 (talk) 01:20, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fred Walker (entrepreneur)

Hello there. I saw that you nominated the above article for DYK. Your references had been verified except that an editor found the article too short. See: Template talk:Did you know#Articles created/expanded on April 9. Will you be able to expand it to reach 1,500 characters or more? It's almost there... so if you can, please do. Interesting article. Thanks. - DaughterofSun (talk) 17:30, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

In particular, free-use images should be found for the article, all Manual of Style guidelines should be followed, and a neutral point of view should be maintained throughout the article. If there is anything you can do to improve the article, then please help out.

[edit] Tania Zaetta

Hi Harro5. I have removed your recent addition to the Tania Zaetta article. I believe the content breaches the letter and the spirit of Wikipedia policy, specifically Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. The whole "story" at this stage is unsourced speculation denied by all parties and inclusion breaches the "do no harm" principle in the BLP policy. Happy to discuss this further should you wish but I will continue to remove any and all content on this issue. Regards, Mattinbgn\talk 04:15, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I take your point about the media attention as being factual (i.e. there is media attention on this issue and an inquiry is being held) however my point is that we should not add to the indignity that the subject of this article must be feeling at present. Her privacy has been horribly breached by the government and we should not be adding to the offence. Over and above any legal concerns, I believe strongly we have a moral duty to "do no harm" and repeating innuendo and rumour, even in the form of discussing the fact of allegations, reports etc, I believe adds to the initial offence. I know there was no malicious intent in your addition, I just didn't see it as appropriate in the circumstances. Finally, on your point about allegations being important, this is a bit like the old chestnut of asking someone "When did you stop beating your wife?" and when a denial is issued then reporting "Man denies beating wife". The allegation is what causes the harm and reporting the denial only adds to it. Sorry for the long-winded explanation but BLP is a bit of a hobby-horse for me. If anything will kill the project, our treatment of living people will. Cheers and thanks for your understanding, Mattinbgn\talk 07:46, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
