on this page i will be working with the topic - ancient history - and i will try to present to the reader all i have learned in my 20 years of diligent study - as a freethinker -

all i write is for all to use - i have no copyright and have labored only in the words of truth as best as i have found them

it will be a matter of learning about mankind from is creation and the earliest of his life as an exile fron eden - beginning with the human chronology as recorded in holy scripture and by ancient scholars of the histories of man

i am not out to challenge anyone - just want to share the knowledge i have gained with all who may find interest in this subject - knowledge acquired in the joy of research is pleasing to the soul and is easily understood as such - coming into grasp in the joy of sharing

i will begin my work on this page shortly

the first manner of presentation will be the chronology of holy scripture - as it relates to the founding of egypt and can be found as factual from catholic scripture as is recorded in the book of genesis i shall try to use in these presentations - only the needed chronology that is to be used in this subject consideration and topic

scripture chronology

adam - created age 130 begot shem shem age 95 begot enos - year 235 from adam enos age 58 founded egypt - year 293

to continue i am going to use the name of the egyptian gods and the lengths of their reigns as recorded by manetho the egyptian highpriest and in his day of records - it must be noted that a solar year had only 360 days - not 365 - and he considered a 30 day lunar cycle as one moon y year - a so;ar year had 12 moon years in it.

he gives for the reign of the first god 9000 moon years - divided by twelve 12 this is a total of 750 solar years

the egyptian name of the first god is hephaestus - enos is bible name - it reads - in his day worship to an unknown god began - egypt is the first nation to give worship ot an unknown god - this is my reason for believing - enos is the first god of egypt the others gods follow in order as his decendents - for six gods so we have first god - reigned 750 solar years - book reference manetho - aegyptiaca - translated by w.g. waddell - harvard university press

i end this part of my history - the hebrew calendar states the year of the great flood is 1067 - so 1656 - 1067 = 589 and this is how we know it was jared is he who fathered the hebrew calendar in the year 589 at 0. in the study of etymology - the name jared means - he who began the counting of the days

the jews believe year year 3761 dates back to adam - adding 589 to 3761 gives us true scripture from adam is 4350 + 2006 = 6356 - we are in the year 6356 from adam - noah died in the year from adam in the year 2006 at the age of 950 - he was born in year 1056 + 950 = 2006.noah lived 350 years after the flood.

at this juncture i will back track to the history of arphaxad

arphaxad born in 1659 - manetho the egyptian highpriest tells us the year of the event of phaleg + 5 is the 34th year of the reign of arphaxad over the medes - arphaxad built the city of ecbatana and made it his capital city the year of phaleg was 1758 so phaleg + 5 = 1763 and is the 24th year of the reign of arphaxad - so 1763 - 34 = 1729 as the year starting the reign of arphaxad over the medes - 1729 - 1659 = 70 and that is the age of arphaxad at the start of his reign - as king of the medes.

in the year 2070 nebuchodonosor - grandson of sargon the great - began his reign as king of assyria - in the 12th year of his reign he defeated king arphaxad - the year was [2082] from 1729 to 2082 arphaxad reigned as king of the medes - the length of his reign was 353 years = 15 yhears later in the yera 2097 he died

the grand son of sargon the great is known to historians as naramsin - but he is the nebuchodonosor of assyria in the days of arphaxad - he was the first king to call himself god of the whole world.

after defeating the medes king nebuchodonosor wanted all nations to call him god - they did not obey him so he set out to destroy all those who did not -

to subject the medes nation to obey him he sent his genberal holofernes to do the job - holofernes placed a seige on the medes people and they wondered about their fate

among them live the uprighteous widow judith - she prayed and god made her exceedingly beautiful - she contrived a plan to overcome holofernes

he left the city and entered the enemy camp - awestruck by her beauty they took her to the tent of holofernes and he desired much to have her intimately

she got holofernes to agree to allow her to leave his tent for cleaning in the middle of the night she had brought her maid with her and both were to be permitted to leave for a while - holofernes instructed his guards tellinmg them it would be alright to let them leave for a while

inpreparation for his m,oment of glory with judith he began drinking heavily - he became very drunk and when judith believe he had gone into a deep sleep she took his sword and beheaded him

she wrapped his head in cloth and was allowed to leave the tent - she went back to the city and the head of holofernes was hung on the outside wall of the city

in the morning - when the troops discovered what had beenm done and saw the head of holofernes hanging on the wall they went into gtreat fright and then flight - with the medes people in pursuit.

they then gathered the spoils the army left behind

it is at hjis time in the medes history ythat an interregnum government was established to reign until a new king had been made leader of the medes

the medes were decandants of madai - the son of jepheth - whose brother was magog - magog was the founder of the scthians - the scythians leader was cyraxes - cyraxes had a son named pharotes - pharotes became the new leader of the medes in that interim gavernment

he reigned to the year 2104 - a period of 22 years - in 2104 he was killed by naramsin

to avenge the death of his son cyraxes waged war against naramsin and killed him in the year 2105 from adam that is the bce year [2244]

hte truthful and great historian of egypt - manetho - has tolf us that the egyptian pharaohs known as the spirits of the dead began their reign in the fifth yerar of phaleg as did the 34th year of the reign of arphaxad did - and that they reigned for 700 yeasrs

it is now that israel and egypt have their togetherness in history but first only with abraham

they returned to canaan - in the year 2034 god told abram sara would bear him a son - they both laughed at the thought - sarai told abram if he wanted a son he should mate with her egyptian maid - hagar - she was past child bearing age

abram did and hagar gave birth to ishmael- in 2035 - abram was 86 years old

thirteen years later god again told abram he would have a son by sarai - he changed his name to abraham and call sarai - sara the year was 2048 abraham was 99 years old

in the year 2049 isaac was born - abraham was 100 years old sara was 91

hagar left the household of abraham - ishmael married later to an egyptian woman

when isaac was 25 years old and god had told him he would be the father of many nations through isaac - now he asked abraham to sacrifice isaac to him -

abraham - reasoning - if god wants me to be the father of many nations through isaac - and he wants me to kill isaac - he must be able to give isaac back his life - thus he reasoned the resurrection - he picked up the knife to kill isaac but and angel of god stopped him saying to him - i know now you fear god

god blessed abraham and there wasa black sheep gaught in the bushes near by and abraham used it for the sacrifice

in the year 2085 at the age of 127 sara died - abraham was 136 years old . he bought a burial plot to bury his wife from a canaanite man called the fied of mamre and buried sara there

when isaac was 40 years old in the year 2089 he merried rebecca daughter of bethuel sister of laban

20 years later in the year 2109 to isaac was born twin sons esau / jacob

esau was a greast hunter - one day he came home famished and dead tired - and asked jacob to give him some food - jacob told esau i'll give you food in exchange for your birthright - esau complied -and jacob received the blessing of birthrigt from isaac when isaac died at the age of 180 in the year 2229 from adam

rebecca did not want jacob to marry a canaanite wife soisaac told jacob after he had blessed him with the birthright blessing - to go to his uncle laban the brother of rebecca to find ia wife

laban - brother of rebecca had two daughters - the eldest lia the younger rachel - jacob met rachel at at watering place and fell in love with her - she was very beautiful -

he struck a deal with laban for his daughter and worked 7 years for laban so he could have rachel in marriage - 7 years past and laban deceived jacob and gave him to wed -lia - so jacob struck another deal with laban - he would work another 7 years for laban but laban would have to give rachel to jacob after the passing of only one week - laban gave rachel to jacob as he promised also to his daughters he gave them a maid -the maid of lia was called zelpha - the maid of rachel was called bala

during the time of his stay with laban all of the children of jacob were born

benjamin the second son of rachel was delivered on the way to bethlehem and there she died now when esau saw that rebecca did not want jacob to marry a canaanite woman he went to ishmael and married the daughter of ishmael called basemath - she was the sister of nabaioth who had been born of the egyptian wife of ishmael

esau was the father of the edomites - the redskined people

potipar made joseph caretaker of his house - he was strong and handsome and the wife of potipar sought intimacy with him

one day while no one else was in the house but joseph - she approached him and asked him to relate with her intimately - joseph refused - she grasped his cloak - he ran away leaving it behind

when her hgusband came home she told him how joseph had thied to to win her favor in intimacy - potipar put joseph in jail- the year was 2217 and pharaoh amenesis was in the 59th year of his reign

in the year 2223 pharaoh amenesis died - joseph was in prison 6 years during the reign of amenesis

the next pharaoh was uses - his reign began in 2223 in the 7th year of his reign - 2230 - he had two dreams which his wisemen could not interpret

his butler had been imprisoned earlier along with the baker of pharaoh - he remembered how josehp had correctly interpreted a dream for him and one for the baker and how josephwas correct in both cases on intrepretation of the dreams - he told pharaoh about joseph

pharaoh uses had joseph brought up to him after he had freshened up and told joseph of his strange dreams - josephtold him a time of plenty was at hand that would last for 7 years then a 7 year time of famine would come over egypt

so impressed was pharoah over josephs interpretation that he made joseph second in command over all of egypt 2nd only to himself.

he also found a wifefor joseph and to joseph were born in the time of plenty 2 spns - manassas and ephraim

as predicted the 7 years of plentry came - in the year 2237 the years of plenty ended - in the 2nd year of famine - pharaoh uses granted joseph the favor of bringing his father and all the members of his tribe into egypt- in the district of rameses in the land of goshen

pharoah uses was in his 16th year of reign - he askrd jacob how old he was and jacob told him 130 years old

the name of jacob had been changed to israel and he lived 17 years in egypt - when he was about to die in the year 2256 israel called his sons together and blest them saying of juda - when the house of juda no longer reigns over israel - god will send into the world him to whom the kingdom truly belongs - that time came in he days of herod the great-

the nation israel lived in egypt as a free people for 350 years to the year 2589.

khamundi was the following hykos pharaoh he reigned 44 years to the year 2721 following khamund was aseth - aseth reigned for 20 years to the year 2741 he added 5 days to the calendar and began the worshiping of apis the bull

here manetho made a great historical error - he believe the israeli shepherds to be the hykos shepherd kings - and recorded them to have reigned for 511 years having begun there reign in the year 2230

2230 + 511 = 2741 however there were never any israeli shepherd kings that mistake has been grievious for historians

in this portion i move to the history of the jews during the reign of the babylonian king nebuchanezzer

his reign began during the reign of the hebrew contemporary king joakim who reigned in the year 3724 from adam.

the first year of the reign of king nebuchanezzer was the 4th year of king joakim [3724 + 4 = 3728]and now i will change to the year reckoning in the bce manner of chronology

the bce year equal to the adam year is 4349 - 3728 = 621 and that is the 4th year of joakim -

in the 8th year of his reing king nebuchanezzer of babylon put the hebrews in the 70 year babylonian exile - joakim had ended his reign and the new hebrew king was joachin - he was in his 3rd month of reign at the time of exile.

there were 2 different times for the oplavcing of the hebrews in exile so that has caused a problem in chronology -

when king nebuchanezzer placed king joachin in exile he established a new hebrew king - king sedecias - he reigned for 11 years and angered king nebuchanezzer - because of this he placed him and the hebrew people he had not exiled ii years before.

the true king of the hebrews placed in exile is joachin and the 70 year exile of the hebrews is measured from the first exlie - that of king joachin and the year of that exile was bce 615.

during the time of exile the medes king astyages reigned - his reign began in the bce year 580 hiswas in the 30 year when he was defeated by the persian king - king cyrus in that year

king cyrus the great began his reign in the year 559 bce and in the year 550 he defeated the medes king astyages.

it just so happened that king astyages was his grandfather so he did not kill him nor did he declare himself king over the persians and the medes but allowed his grandfather to live on to his natural death as the medes king to be accepted - he conquered him but did not destroy his kinly authority over the medes.

king astyages died in the year 545 after having reigned as king of the medse for 35 years the hebrew exile was soon to end -

they had been exiled in the year 3735 from adam so 3735 + 70 = 3805 from adam and 3805 from adam is the year 614 bce

soon after the death of his grandfather king astyages - king cyrus of persia now declared himself king of the whole known world.

he freed the hebrew nation from there exile and allowed them to return to their own country to rebuild their temple - by proclaimation and not by victory at war. having defeated his grandfather the medes king astyages 5 years before.

moving rapidly forward i now tell of the years of augustus ceasar

he was born in the 63 bce and in bce 44 julius caesar was assasinated.

prior to his death julius caesar had established a new calendar and the era was know as the lulian reform era.

the new calendar was developed by the egyptian scholar sesogenes and was a solar calendar based on a 3651/4 days pre year. it was to have one extra day inserted in the month of february every 4th year after the passing of 3 years of regular 3651/4 days - this year was called a leap year.

before the calendar was placed in use - julius caesar was assasinated and the priest who had been assigned the duty of keeping the calendar mistook the order of caesar to insert a leap year calendar after the passing of 3 regular years took it to mean it meant to insert a leap year calendar after the passing of only 2 regular years or every 4th year.

the error can be understood only if the original calendar was a leap year for then the 4th year would also be a leap year.

in the time of the inauguration of the julian reform era there lived the roman scholar - marcus terentius varro - who is known as the father of libraries - he died i7 years after the reform era had begun.

he has recorde in his works that the original calendar was the leap year calendar known in his day as leap year calendar cb - known to us as leap year calendar number 13.

leap year calendar 13 begins on a friday - and it was in was inaugurated on the day the senate went into session.

the first year of the era was the very year after the death of julius caesar and that is known to us today as bce 43

now in the study of chronology and in the establishment of the years it is necessary that the interger -0- be considered as the point of origin and that first year begins on day 1 so we have in the order of chronology year 1 as being the year after the passing of 3651/4 days from point of origin -0- and that establishes the point at which any subject matter finds its limit and beyond which the is no further knowledge that exists.

in the 32th year of the reform era the calendar keepers discovered their error and they allowed the years to remain in error for 3 more years to the year of the julian reform era 35.

in the year 35 augustus caesar declared a zone of correction which was find its limits betweeen the year 35 and last 16 years to the year 52 limlted by the year 53

the reason for the length of the correction zone is simply to ascertain that both the regular years and the leap years had become in the true order of sequence as ordered by julius caesar.

i end my history study at the death of jesus i plan on telling of events in the future of the star of bethlemem and what events on earth relates with it concunctions in the heavens and such things

i have completed this work in diligent study and am convinced of its chronological accuracy.

first i will give the story of the building of the temple by king solomon

the chronology of thisobjective deals with the freeing of the hebrews from egypt and as such i shall include the life of moses from his birth - but from exodus the true chronology related in scripture from the year of exodus to the 4th year of the reign of king solomon and going to the year it was completed

there were times during this span of years that must be included in this study but only the time of self rule is given by the year 480 as the fourth year of solomon

scripture reads III - kings - 6 - 1 that there were 480 years of self -reign from exodus year to solomon 4 -

there are 514 years of judges and kings

there are 133 years of foreign rule or no ruler at all the total years then from the year of ezodus is 514 + 133 = 647
