Check regularly on the unassessed list of articles and rate their importance and quality. [edit] Peer reviewThe peer review department conducts peer reviews of articles on request; this helps to obtain ideas for further improvement by having contributors who may not have previously worked on particular articles examine them. Project members are invited to submit articles to the department in lieu of using the generic peer review process. You can submit an article for peer review or assist in reviewing articles here. |

[edit] Manual of Style (MoS)This and more should be edited into the up & coming WikiProject Rugby manual of style Certain groups of rugby league pages should have a certain structure. These are:
[edit] Naming ConventionsRugby league shall be written in lower case, such as rugby league, except when starting a sentence, such as in this one. Also the use of the more official traditional term rugby league football is acceptable, as well as references to footballers, football etc.. Terms involving football, such as football coach, should be amended to rugby league football coach unless the meaning is entirely unambiguous. i.e. to call the game football in New South Wales and Queensland articles is acceptable but if there is any ambiguity involving rlf and soccer, rugby union or Aussie Rules than the the specific term "rugby league football" should be used. See the Rugby league discussion page for more information. Also see wikipedia naming conventions, for naming articles. [edit] Summarise and linkParticularly when writing history of rugby league, be careful not to duplicate information. The standard way to deal with possibly duplicate information is to keep one major source of that information and wherever else it is useful, summarise and link to it, in the following manner.
You can see an example here. However, it may be that yours is a complicated subject and for the reader to get the whole picture with as little reading as possible, it is recommended you write light paragraphs that link to the relevant articles in the text. The history section in the rugby league article is the perfect example of this. |

[edit] GlossaryI find my self starting to use special terms to refer to things on wikipedia. If you do too, add them here so you can use them in discourse. This may facilitate or hamper communication. I guess we'll find out. WP-item
