He debut on the RAW brand attacking John Cena and Edge. On Wrestlemania 23 he won the WWE championship. During the June 2nd edition of RAW he was aressted cuasing him to vacat the WWE titel. He retuned at Summerslam defeting Joey Mercury. Durring the following Raw he challenged Matt Hardy to a TLC match ultimatly winning. He lost to Rey Mysterio on October 13th. He remaned inactive until November 30th.

He retuned with a new gimick as a Hardcore beer drinking good guy known as Hardcore Hak. His debuting match was agianst The Sandman and Sabu on ECW. During the match made use of his knew finishers the F-5 2 and the chokeslam. During his leave he grew muscel and the name The Monster. He faced off The Hardy Boyz whitch he won. Later on that night he frew John Cena into a Garbage Truck. After words he was arrested.
