parameter meaning
name Name of the character. This is the only value that is required and all other fields are optional.
gender The gender or sex of a character. It is recommended to include this as images are often removed or missing, so the reader may not be able to judge the gender unless specifically stated.
hometown The hometown of a character. Not necessarily were the character was born but were they have lived for most of their life. For example it is not known if Frank and Joe Hardy were actually born in Bayport, but we know that they have lived in Bayport for most of their life.
occupation Occupation or job of a character. If the character is still in school you can put in 'student.
affiliation A character's affiliation. For those that don't know, it basically means which side a character is on. For example Fenton Hardy is affiliated to ATAC.
relatives Some characters have notable relatives. When adding them use a similar syntax to the following example: '''Father:''' [[Fenton Hardy]]
'''Brother:''' [[Joe Hardy (The Hardy Boys)]]. Remember to separate each relation with a
!
appearance The book this character first appeared in, for example Vanessa Bender first appeared in Casefiles #69 Mayhem in Motion.
