This page is completely self-serving and biased in its perspective. It makes no mention of his association with Gophers basketball scandals in the 1970s and is unencyclopedic in tone. matt91486 05:37, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Please add the info you have on this! Even links where great!--Nemissimo 12:31, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Whoever removed the allegations in regards to the Gophers basketball team, please leave those in. Wikipedia isn't just for flattering information. matt91486 19:07, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sources?

This text has been removed from the article:

"Mackay is most famous for the revelations of his violations of NCAA rules in the 1970s when he provided financial support and improper aid to several players on the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball team."

Are there any sources for it?--Nemissimo 00:47, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Well, there are sources in the section on it later in the article, clearly. Other sources can also be discerned from the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball page. matt91486 01:59, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
