Regarding the mysterious death of Harvey Logan and the rumour of his having gone to Bolivia: In Percy Harrison Fawcett's writings this explorer (who himself disappeared mysteriously in the forests of the Amazon) mentions an encounter with a "Harvey, the shootist" in September 1907 at a place in Bolivia called Rurenabaque. Fawcett described this man as somebody worth to listen to. Harvey had been a "real bandit" and supposedly was still quite fast with his colt when meeting Fawcett. Since there was a reward on his capture Harvey had had to flee to Mexico from where he moved to Southamerica and finally Bolivia. "He knew every mining town along the west coast", wrote Fawcett and mentions some hair raising encounters which Harvey supposedly had had with local soldiers. I wonder if this Harvey could be Harvey Logan.

[edit] Mythbusters

Should it be noted that Harvey Logan was mentioned during the Exploding Lighter episode of MythBusters?
Part of this segment was based on the myth that Logan could draw and fire a revolver five times before a silver dollar fell from the back of his other hand. Shuckiduck 06:29, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
