He was born in Birmingham see official website CustardJack 21:28, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] FOLK SINGER??

Harvey Andrews says of himself, "I only sing songs what i have written", so it is debatable whether he is actually a "folk" singer rather than a 'singer-songwriter'

[edit] Soldier

I believe 'Soldier' is based on a real incident which happened in Northern Ireland where a Sergeant of the Parachute Regiment used his body as a 'human shield' to protect civilians from a bomb. As his body was carried away members of the crowd sang songs and spat at it/him.

[edit] Paul Simon

According to Harvey Andrews himself, he was the first person to cover a Paul Simon song (Trevek (talk) 22:16, 14 February 2008 (UTC))
