[edit] Merge proposal
In accordance with [1] the Wikipedia notes on writing about settlements, one of the recommendations is that, in order to reduce the number of stubs, villages and other settlements within a civil parish should be in one article. Hence the proposal I have made for the Hammerwood article to be incorporated here; I am in fact including the information already, so that it can be seen that the Wiki recommendation is eminently reasonable: it brings this article up to beyond a stub, and reduces East Sussex stubs by two, since it is also possible to incorporate the Hammerwood Park article here as well Peter Shearan (talk) 10:47, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- the lists in the original under the heading Demographics were listed straight from what is now the reference. the Pooh sticks bridge crops up all over the country! Peter Shearan (talk) 14:11, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
