[edit] Inaccuracies

This article contains some profound inaccuracies. Mr. Landis was NOT born in Tampa Bay, Florida; the claim that he was born in '1907' is silly...I have census records and other records that show he was born in 1899.R Young {yakłtalk} 03:27, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Meant is in fact his own claim (maybe because he wants to be younger). Extremely sexy 09:44, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spirit

In the spirit of discussing changes, I'm going to be bold and revert the last change made to this article. While I can agree that allegiance may be a term of some concern, it is the term that is used as a parameter on this infobox make it display - nationality is not a valid parameter in this infobox, and thus if you replace "allegiance" with "nationality" nothing appears at all. So for the infobox to display correctly, we need to use the word "allegiance" even if we don't agree with it for now. If you want to discuss changing the name of this parameter, or giving the infobox the option of using either word, you should bring it up here. Cheers, CP 16:05, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Paul,

I was not aware of the setup until I attempted to change it. However, I do find it a bit disturbing as we are beginning to see the abiility to edit reduced by hidden blockers, which I find inappropriate.Ryoung122 02:55, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] World War II

The category lists him is a World War II veteran as well. Is this true? Czolgolz (talk) 21:13, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
