Actually, the 1980 World Series calls by Kalas are re-creations. Due to network regulations of the time, local announcers were not permitted to broadcast World Series games. This was mentioned on the video for the 20th anniversary of the 1980 world championship. Kalas called it a very frustrating time, but as Dallas Green noted, "Harry Kalas can re-create baseball better than most people can do it live." J-Red 15:06, 3 March 2006 (UTC)Outtaherephils
