[edit] General Comments

I think he was only in Springfield, Ohio, but the article keeps referring to Springfield, Illinois. This is a mistake, right? Ruhrfisch 02:02, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

An especially egregious one at that, as it is repeated. Or mehbe this web 3.0?

  • I thought it was egregious on my part, too. It turns out, the reference from which I took the information[1] is from NASA and lists Illinios. Here is the entry for 1904 JANUARY 14. "Wrights write to Harry A. Toulmin, patent attorney in Springfield, Ill., for appointment to discuss pending patent application." Here is the entry for 1904 JANUARY 22. "Wilbur goes to Springfield, Ill., to see Toulmin and places Wright patent case in his hands. Wilbur saw Toulmin again on February 4 to discuss foreign patent applications. Chanute visits Wrights in Dayton to discuss rules for aeronautic competition scheduled for St. Louis World’s Fair." Search the reference[2] for Toulmin and you will see some of the information I used. The Bushnell Building is located at 14 E Main St, Springfield, OH 45502-1358. So NASA (NASA(!)) is wrong.Jreferee 05:42, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Thanks for checking - you can write NASA and let them know of their error. I just reverted 4 links to other language Wikipedia articles as they did not exist. Ruhrfisch 11:52, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
