[edit] needs sources

An assertion that someone is a professor at a university is an assertion of notability. It can of course be questioned, but it makes the use of speedy inappropriate. I think it will probably be OK with sources, as he seems a major figure in med. history. Not being the author, I removed the speedy tag. DGG 05:26, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

I disagree, but the appropriate thing for a speedy, rather than removing the Speedy tag is to apply the {{hangon}} tag and explain why. That is why it says that in the template. Slavlin 16:13, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
