I deleted part about school webpage. I do not think it belongs to encyklopedia. This way it looks like a vanity page . Especialy when there is no other text on the page than description of five years old webpage. --Jan Smolik 19:37, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

The bit about Buyun Zhao is obviously someone having a lark, but I'll leave it to folk closer to the matter to correct. Eeksypeeksy 11:15, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

I've just removed Buyun Zhao yet again from this page. If someone can give a source as to why this person is famous (as I can't find any) then it may be able to go back in but until then I'm just going to assume it's someone having a lark. Ydam 12:54, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

This article clearly does not meet accepted standards and is partial and anecdotal. However, I do not have enough information to effect a thorough and accurate correction.

The reference to the Harris's existence as a private school is wrong. The school has always been a state school and my father attended it in the 1920s. From personal experience I know that in the 1950s and 60s, the school had a primary department which charged a relatively small fee, but the senior department, although selective, was free. This department disappeared in the early 60s and the school was from then onwards a secondary school. The reference to teachers in the 70s and 80s being left over from the private era is therefore nonsense.

The "boom in numbers" in the 1970s was as a result of the onset of comprehensive education and the linking of the original Harris with Logie (NB not Blackness) secondary school.

The references to teachers seem to relate to one author's personal time at the school and are largely anecdotal rather than factual.

Thanks for that info. I was going to try and clean up those edits but now you've told me it's wrong we can just go ahead and remove it. You also totally right on the teachers section too. I don't think there's anything in that section thats worth saving  YDAM TALK 14:05, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

The previous incorrect information, anecdotes and opinions have been restored. I have tried (quickly) to restore the objective nature of Ydam's previous edits.

[edit] Assess

A good start article. You need some more content and some references to advance to a B. Dahliarose 11:20, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
