Hi Daulakh,

Regarding Harjinder Singh Jinda, I do not feel it right to remove a persons early life from his own biography. Regarding decision of the Shiromani Akali Dal, the SHSAD, the SGPC, the Damdami Taksal, AISSF and the Dal Khalsa to honour him, I have got nothing to do with it. I simply beleive that it was a historical event because all these major parties jointly participated in his death anniversary where he was awarded with a certain honour hence it should stay in the article. If you do not like these political parties or their decision, then please have a word with them, but history is history. And truth should be loved.

I could not understand that why you had to remove information about Jindha's early life. Is it just because you hate him, or you want to suppress their names at all.

Regarding their letter to the president, I have not added this text, it could be nice if some one could add a link instead. I will try creating a link afterwards. I agree with you regarding this temporary removal of that part.

Because of all these reasons I am going to revert it to its March 30th 2008 version but with letter part temporarily removed.

[edit]

Sukhwinder Singh Sukha and Harjinder Singh Jindha were true sikhs who gave their lives to take revenge of Indian attack on Harimandir Sahib Complex.

Sikhism never spared any terrorist official or any terrorist regime or any terrorist country who ever attacked Harimandir Sahib in its whole history. Even Mugal official Massa Rangar and Hindu Ruler Indra Gandhi were assasinated because of the similar issues.

Could some one delete this entry. It is of little consequence and seems to be some fringe sympathisers of these characters.

[edit] Jindha & Sukha - Great Martyrs

Well! If some one hate these great martyrs then it doesnt mean that this artice should be deleted. Remember! Both of these heros were killed and secerately cremated in a similar way as Indian freedom fighters 'Shahid Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev' were killed and cremated. Do you understand, Why ? .... Because people loved them all and the respective governments {Indian (in case of Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Jindha and Sukhdev Singh Sukha) Or British (in case of Shahid Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev)} felt that even handing over their dead bodies could incite big revolts. ---- Posted by Singh6

I would request 'Hydman' to not to edit/delete my wordings instead he can add his own remarks. We are in a talk page, so lets talk/discuss and let the world read our views. You are showing your cunning mind by deleting my words and adding yours in my paragraphs.

Now regarding your wording that Shahid Bhagat Singh's family was attacked, please note that Shahid Bhagat Singh's family member was killed by India in one of thousands of fake encounters where Sikhs were killed. DSP Jaspal Singh of Punjab police had personally killed Mr Singh Dhatt, a family member of Bhagat Singh in a fake encounter. This police officer was awarded President's Police Medal for fighting militancy in the state. It took 10 years for the Sikhs to get justice from Indian courts which finally convicted him for another Human Rights activist's killing but Indian government through its governor (Gen S.F. Rodrigues ), pardoned him under Indian secret policy.(http://www.tribuneindia.com/2005/20051120/punjab1.htm). --- Posted by Singh6

Well Mr. Singh6 it was a like minded thing. Some stuff i wrote earlier was also deleted completely. It is not a question of liking or hating any one but whether the persons are imnportant enough to be listed. i have in fact made the main page a bit more NPOV. Grreat martyrs, etc. make POV's. Your link is on Son in law of Bhagat Singh's Sister. Not same as a brother. We used to read in indian newspapers that these two characters used to threaten the jail staff frerquently (not able to find that on net now) A lot has been discussed on Punjab Militants in other places. So, i am off this topic now. you can modify it with all your POV's -i have also deleted the stuff i wrote. it has not relation to this but any way looked nice with your POV! Thanks Sandhu75 and others for making the main page encycopedic. -Hydman
