[edit] Why "Southrons" and not "Haradrim"?

A Google search for Haradrim brings up far more results than Southrons. Also, it seems that the term "Southrons" is used in non-Tolkien contexts. Uthanc 14:43, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Back when I added this page I was simply following a red Southrons link. Either term would fit well, I have no objection to a move. Southrons fits better with Easterlings than Haradrim does to it, though. -- Jordi·✆ 12:44, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi all, I think there should be a small section on the possible military tactics used by each of the different peoples of middle earth. This section could go towards the end of the page under the subheading: Haradrim tactics in Warcraft. [edit] Possible Inaccuracy

The people Sam, Frodo, and Gollum saw at the gate. I believe they where from Rhun and not from Harad. I looked into this and Gollum said men from the east and not south...

They're from Harad: "Sméagol thinks they have come out of the South..." and Sam sings the Oliphaunt song, associated with the Haradrim. Uthanc 00:23, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Those are the people in Ithilien you are thinking about. The people I am talking about are at the black gate in the Two Towers... The people at the black gate are form Rhun.
The quotes are from "The Black Gate is Closed". The Ithilien stuff is from "Of Herbs and Stewed Rabbit". Uthanc 06:37, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
