Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore (born ca. 1840s), is a fictional character in the Harry Potter novel series by J.K. Rowling. Dumbledore also appears in all five film adaptations. Dumbledore in the series is the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for most of the series, and is a leading character for most of the series in the fight against Voldemort. Dumbledore is described as tall and thin, with long silver hair that looked long enough to tuck into his belt and a long beard.
He is famous as an alchemist who has worked with Nicolas Flamel, the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone, and is credited with discovering the twelve uses of dragon's blood. He is known to be able to conjure Gubraithian Fire (magical everlasting fire). He holds the Order of Merlin, First Class, for Grand Sorcery. He is also the Chief Warlock on the Wizengamot (wizard court) and Supreme Mugwump for the International Confederation of Wizards.
Sirius Black (born c 1958 - June 1996) is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series of books. He was first mentioned in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Sirius was the last heir of the House of Black, a once notable pure-blood Wizard family. His parents, Orion and Walburga Black, were both Blacks by birth, and were second cousins. Sirius also had a younger brother, Regulus Black.
Sirius was one of the four marauders and best friends with James Potter, Harry Potter's father and was also Harry Potter's Godfather. He was sentenced to imprisonment in Azkaban, the wizarding prison for allegedly murdering muggles and killing Peter Pettigrew.
Fleur Delacour (born c 1977) is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series of books. She first appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She is a student of the Beauxbatons Academy in France. Fluer is a talented witch, powerful enough to be selected as champion in the prestigious Triwizard Tournament. She is said to be stunnigly beautiful and as of the sixth book in the series is engaged to Bill Weasley, the eldest brother of Ron Weasley.
Filius Flitwick (born October 17, year unknown)[1] is a fictional character in the Harry Potter books. His character provides some comic relief in the books. He generally plays small parts in the plot events of the stories. Probably his most significant role is to introduce various spells into the story.
Flitwick is the Charms Master and Head of Ravenclaw House[2] at Hogwarts. His squeaky voice matches his tiny stature; he stands on a stack of books in order to see over the top of his desk and sits on a pile of cushions at the staff table.
