  • Subject: Question about Hessler Street Fair photo

Hello,

I wrote an article about the Hessler Street Fair for the Wikipedia website a year or two ago, and I think it would be really nice if we could add a photo to that article.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hessler_Street_Fair

I think the best photo on the Hessler website is the one of the capoeira dancer leaping into the air by photographer John Harmon, which won one of the photo prizes in 2006.

Would you be able to put me in touch with Mr. Harmon so I could ask his permission to put the photo in the Wikipedia article?

Many thanks and happy holidays,

--

I'm sorry not to have gotten back to you earlier. As the photo contest director for 2003-2006 I can give you permission to run the pix you want if you give photographer John Harmon credit, so please do. The upside down capoeista is Taliesin Reid-Haugh.

In the two attached JPGs is a small and a large version of the pix so the viewer can see the small pix in the article and click on it for a large version.

Thank you for putting the Hessler Street Fair on Wikipedia. Please make sure your article is classified under all appropriate headings.

Sincerely yours,

Lee Batdorff
