[edit] Rationale for fair use in Harisu
- This image is of great importance to the Harisu article, since it illustrates the TV commercial which launched her career, a significant event in her life. It also clearly shows the digitally enhanced Adam's apple effect, something that is specifically mentioned in the article. The commercial was the first in Korea to use a transsexual model, and as such received widespread coverage by the media (see [1], [2], [3]). Consequently, the use of this image in the Harisu article provides more information than simply showing what the person looks like.
- The image is of low resolution, therefore it could not be used in any way that would infringe on the rights of the copyright holder.
- The image has been cropped and reduced in size, so it is of lower quality than the original.
- No free or public domain equivalents have been found that could be used to replace this image.
