Harwich High School

Harwich High School is a public high school located in the town of Harwich, Massachusetts. Harwich High School serves around 500 students in grades 9-12. Harwich is renowned for its baseball, field hockey, and girl's basketball teams. All of which have participated in and won many state titles.

Harwich is very famous for its baseball teams which won back to back state titles in 2006 and 2007 and have sent many players to move on and play college ball in the past years. Cody Crowell is the most famous. being clocked in at 90+ MPH who played at Vanderbilt and was drafted in the 14th Round by the Toronto Blue Jays. Others include George Mason infielder Ryan Soares, Boston College Outfield/Infielder Jared McGuire, Wheaton Catcher Adam LaPlante, Catcher Dylan DeGroff [Shelton Sate CC] UMass Infielder Connor Burnham and pitcher James Hamilton, who was also a standout tailback for the football team in high school. Recently, Hamilton had tryouts for the New York Mets in 2007. Jared McGuire was named the 2005 ACC Player of the Year for Boston College. Harwich is part of the South Shore League. The school's mascot is the Rough Riders and the school's colors are Royal Blue and Gold.
