Harvest Park Middle School is a 6-8 formulated middle school. It is one of the three middle schools in the Pleasanton Unified School District along with Hart Middle School and Pleasanton Middle School.Harvest Park, also known as HP, also contain many sports, such as wrestling, volleyball, basketball, golf, cheerleading, and track. HP also support many clubs like the math counts, fish club, and robotics club. Harvest Park holds over 1100 students, of all races. The students there are suppose to follow what's called CHRRIS or Compassion, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, and Self Discipline. HPMS also offers extracurricular classes such as industrial technology, computers, art, quest, world languages (French and Spanish), band, and 8th graders may also choose leadership or become a T.A. (teacher's assistant), and service. HP also holds spirit days every Friday, encouraging the students to wear school colors (red, white, and blue).

Every morning, Harvest Park has something that's called, "HPTV", which addresses any problems or important activities that are going on at the school. The media class's students and teachers run HPTV every morning. HPTV airs during the beginning of first period.
[edit] The Laptop Program
Harvest Park was one of the first schools to support the laptop program. The Laptop program is spreading through the Pleasanton Unified School District now. In the Laptop Program, students get their own laptop, either bought, or rented from the school, and they do most of their work on it. Some classes don't have the laptop program, like P.E., math, and art. The classes that do support the laptop program are English, History, Science, and Health.

Harvest Park is a "go green" school, and was also the first school in the United States to be ran by solar panels. This school also has a successful recycling system. harvest park also uses recycable forks and spoons!but not everyone contributes...so let other schools do this as well!

Harvest Park came up with a way to enforce respect in the school, so they came up with whats called, CHRRIS with two r's. CHRRIS stands for compassion, honesty, respect, responsibility, integrity, and self-discipline. ya
