Harun Tekin

Harun Tekin (born June 28, 1977 in Ankara, Turkey) is a Turkish rock musician, a founder member and frontman of the rock band Mor ve Ötesi. His roles in the band are lead vocals and playing the rhythm guitar. Frontman Tekin is also known as a social fighter for peace with a great conscience and knowledge. He graduated from Deutsche Schule Istanbul and later Boğaziçi University with a double major in Philosophy and Psychology.

Mor ve Ötesi (his band) also participated in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest held in Belgrade, Serbia. Their entry "Deli" got to number 7 in the final.
