Hartman High School

The Charles E. Smith High School is a religious high school in Jerusalem, found nearby the Shalom Hartman Institute. Its grades run from seventh to twelfth, with the seventh and eighth grades being in a separate campus. Originally a high school for boys, the school has recently introduced classes for girls as well. Other additions to the school include classes for developmentally disabled students, as well as a created to help Ethiopian-born young immigrants to Israel. The school is most famous for its known pluralism of opinions, though its teachers are often found stating, "we never said we were pluralists". The high school was founded 24 years ago.
