Hart Middle School is one of the three middle schools in the Pleasanton Unified School District along with Harvest Park and Pleasanton Middle School. Hart is the newest out of the three. The school is named after Thomas S. Hart.

Hart has many programs and activities, such as the laptop program and band. The current principal is Steve Maher; the two vice-principals are Terry Conde and Estella Santos.
