Harriet Fier

Harriet Fier is a writer and editor. After graduating from college, Fier got a job with Rolling Stone in San Francisco. She soon became the managing editor of the magazine, and working with Ben Fong-Torres, David Felton, and owner/founder Jann Wenner, she helped bring the magazine to its heyday. After leaving Rolling Stone, Fier edited the Style section of the Washington Post working with writers such as Lynn Darling, Tony Kornheiser and Tom Shales. She edited The Tower Commission Report, a New York Times #1 Paperback Best Seller as well as "Robert Kennedy, In His Own Words", also a New York Times best seller.
