The Harpers Ferry Amtrak station is a train station in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. Amtrak's Capitol Limited arrives at the station twice daily. Train #30 arrives in the morning and travels east while train #29 arrives in the afternoon and travels west. The station is also served by the MARC train with trains traveling east in the morning and west in the evening. The station recently received a $2 million renovation.
Harper's Ferry Station was originally built by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, which ran through Harper's Ferry as far back as 1834.
