Haroon Khan (born May 12, 1991) is a British boxer[1] from Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. He currently attends the school of Smithills. Haroon is a Raja of the Janjua Rajput clan of Pakistan. He is the younger brother of boxing sensation Amir Khan[2] and the cousin of international cricketer Sajid Mahmood.

Khan is currently an amatuer and has fought many fights inculding one with amatuer Shakeeb [3]. He often gets trained with his brother and is seen in the gym alot with his older brother, Amir Khan (boxer). Shahjaad Khan (father) has stated that he will be better than Amir.[4]

Khan was born and raised in Bolton, Lancashire His family is from the Janjua Rajput clan of Matore in Rawalpindi Pakistan.
Haroon has a brother Amir Khan (boxer) and two sisters(Maria and Tabinda), Whom are all the children of Falak and Shahjaad Khan.He is the cousin of World-Class Cricketer Sajid Mahmood.
He performed an Umrah in 2006, he left England for Saudi Arabia on September 5 and returned on September 16 with brother and mother.[citation needed].

[edit] Training for 2012 London Olympics

Khan is currently in training for the 2012 Summer Olympics. Due to age restrictions, Khan is unable to enter Bejing 2008 for the next summer Olympics.However, his father Shahjaad Khan has stated that he is going to turn out better than his brother Amir[5].[citation needed] He has won many of his amateur fights. He is notable for fighting better than his brother.[6]

Khan has represented England two times in the year of 2008.[7] Khan has won the first fight and is hoping to win the other.
