Harold Kaye

Harold Swift Kaye was a first class cricketer who played 18 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1907 and 1908. He also appeared for in one first class game for Marylebone Cricket Club in 1908 and 2 for HDG Leveson-Gower's XI in 1909 and 1910. He reappeared for the M.C.C. in a non first class game in 1922.
A right handed batsman, he scored 262 runs at 9.7 with a best of 37 for Yorkshire against Marylebone Cricket Club in his second match, at Lords, in 1907. He took 9 catches in all and bowled one maiden over, for HDG Leveson-Gower's XI, without success.
He was born on May 9, 1882 in Mirfield, Yorkshire and died on November 6, 1953 in St John's, Wakefield.
His son, Michael Kaye, played 17 matches for Cambridge University in 1937 and 1938.
