Harold Gurden

Harold Edward Gurden (28 June 1903 - 27 April 1989) was a British Conservative politician.
Gurden was educated at Lyttelton School. Birmingham and Birmingham University. He became a technician in the dairy and food industries and was founder president of Birmingham Dairymen's Association and chairman of the Society of Dairy Technology. He was a councillor on Birmingham City Council 1946-56.
Gurden was Member of Parliament for Birmingham Selly Oak from 1955 to October 1974, when he lost the seat to Labour's Thomas Litterick.
