Harold Creighton

Harold Digby Fitzgerald Creighton (11 September 1927-3 July 2003) was a British businessman who bought The Spectator magazine in 1967. Although he had no prior experience as a journalist, he was also editor of the magazine from 1973 to 1975, when he sold it. During his tenure, The Spectator fervently opposed English entry into the European Economic Community
