Harnawa

Harnawa (हरनावा) is a village situated in Nagaur district midway between Degana railway station and Parbatsar towns, in Rajasthan state in India. It is known as birth place of Ranabai (Devanagari: रानाबाई, IAST: Rānābāī), popularly known as Vīrānganā Rānābāī (वीराँगना रानाबाई), who was a revered Jat warrior girl, born on 1543 AD, in the family of Chaudhari Jalam Singh. Jalam Singh was a Hindu Jat chieftain of Ghana gotra (clan).
