Harmontown is an unincorporated town in Lafayette County in the U.S. state of Mississippi. In the hill country of North Mississippi, Harmontown is located in the northwest corner of Lafayette County, just off MS 310 and just to the north of Sardis Lake.

- Harmontown does not have a post office, so residential addresses are attributed to adjacent towns such as Como, up to half an hour's drive away. Towns surrounding Harmontown include (Oxford, Batesville, Como, Senatobia, Independance, as well as Holly Springs MS.)
- Harmontown has only two restaurants: The Holiday Lodge, where the cooks will fillet and fry fish that customers catch in Sardis Lake; and the SnoShak, where the menu includes fried foods, barbecued sandwich, hamburgers,as well as soft serve ice cream cones, 8 flavor shakes, bananna splits, sundaes, and 31 flavors of Hawaiian Shaved ice.[citation needed]
