The Hudson Valley Rail Trail is a paved rail trail on an abandoned portion of the Harlem Line. It is owned by the Harlem Valley Rail Trail Association. It was originally opened in 1996, and was expanded in 1997, 2000 and 2005. It is planned to be expanded northward (beyond the Taconic State Park) to 41 miles (66 km) to Chatham.
