Harlan Dickson

Lieutenant Commander Harlan Rockey Dickson (about 1920 – 5 February 1944) was an officer in the United States Navy.
Dickson was a member of Yorktown's famed Dive Bomber Squadron 5. He twice received the Navy Cross for his outstanding courage and combat flying, first at Tulagi and again at the pivotal Battle of Midway. Lt. Comdr. Dickson crashed and was killed off the California coast 5 February 1944.
