Haranath Policherla is a Doctor turned actor currently residing in India. He lived the past 20 years in the state of Michigan and is a Doctor turned actor. He owns 29 % stake in Global Hospitals, India.

Dr. Policherla received his Neurology Training from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, with a subspecialty in sleep medicine, clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy. Board certified in all of the above, he is also actively involved in the Neurology Department of St. John's Hospital. His special practice areas include: Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, migraines, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and sleep disorders.

His debut movie was "Alex" which also co-stars Rambha, Sangeeta and Kausha. This movie received really bad reviews because of thin story line, terrible screenplay and lack of acting prowess by Haranath, himself.

Dr. Haranath is currently producing "Chandrahaas" in which Krishna has a guest role. Critics are hoping that guest appearance by Superstar Krishna will provide the much lacking impetus to the movie. According to tollywood sources in India, Haranath Policherla's, "Chandrahas" received great reviews and movie was credited with good music and great story line. Superstar krishna looked great.
