Hargeisa Canadian Medical Center or HCMC is a medical center located in Hargeisa, Somaliland. It is one of the foremost medical facilities in East Africa, and is unsurpassed in the Republic of Somaliland. It consists of a walk-in clinic, a diagnostic center, a medical laboratory and pharmacy.
All the physicians that work there were all trained in Canada and Italy.
HCMC is also known for its humanitarian endeavors, such as free medical treatment on Thursdays; the physicians also often travel to impoverished villages and treat the locals.
