Hardrush Music Corporation is a medium scale independent record label based in Australia. With some 100 signed performers the label's main strengths are in Blues, Country, Folk, Gospel, Rock and Urban. The business motto is "Indie Music Across The Nation And To The World".
Established in 2003, Hardrush is a member of the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), Australian Independent Recording Labels Association (AIR), Australian Christian Artists Association (ACAN), Australian Gospel Music Association (AGMA), Christian Booksellers Association (CBAA), Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA), Folk Alliance Australia (FAA) and Rock Against Racism (RAR). With head office in Canberra, Australia, its CEO is the label's founder, Kelvin Fahey.
Hardrush Music operates in three divisions: Distribution of CDs and DVDs are through music retailers, bookshops, service stations, tours, festivals, digital downloads and direct by artists; Hardrush Publishing activities represent songwriters across world markets with emphasis on covers, advertising, television and soundtrack licensing; and Hardrush Events which is a rising force in festival coordination and underwriting. Festivals directly underwritten and/or coordinated by Hardrush Events include: Anketell Indie Music Fest, Deepwater Roots & Blues Festival, Gympie Country Gospel Showcase, MetalFest Australia, New England Folk & Jazz Festival, Tenterfield Country Muster and the Wild West Coast Blues & Country Festival.
Whilst Hardrush does not directly undertake artist management it is active in promotion and marketing of artist recordings and welcomes unsolicited demos and finished recordings from Australian and New Zealand Christian artists.
