Hardliner was a Canadian hard rock band, active from 1999 to 2004.

Hardliner formed in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada in 1999. The band performed at local clubs and venues and released a six-song E.P., entitled 'Generation Why?' in 2001. Hardliner had interviews on Canada's CBC Radio and live footage aired on MuchMusic's programme Going Coastal. The band disbanded indefinitely in the summer of 2004.
