Hard Normal Daddy is an acid and drum and bass album by UK techno artist Tom Jenkinson, more commonly known by his recording name, Squarepusher. It is his first full release on the Warp Records label. The album could also be described as jazz, funk, and drum and bass mixed together.
The booklet features pixelated images of locations in Chelmsford (Jenkinson's home and birthplace), and sprites and graphics from Commodore VIC-20 computer games. The arrangement of the images indicates that the sprites are ravers fleeing from the police.
The album is dedicated to the Chelmsford rave scene.
