Harbinger Hall

Harbinger Hall is a short story by Bill Roorbach. It is about a boy who sends a false letter to his teacher, claiming to be moving, and the proceeds to cut school. In cutting school, he meets an old man who teaches him about the Russian Revolution, and brings it to life. Harbinger Hall was published in the Atlantic in December of 2004.
