Harbin Normal University (HNU) (simplified Chinese: 哈尔滨师范大学; traditional Chinese: 哈爾濱師範大學; pinyin: Hā'ěrbīnshīfàndàxué) is a university located in Harbin, Heilongjiang, P.R. China. It is considered the best university in Heilongjiang province.

HNU has 16 colleges and offers 46 academic majors. It offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees. It has an international college which has enrolled students from over 20 countries.

HNU's Japanese department is the best Japanese department in Heilungkiang province.
